Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. hot water
1 c. uncooked quick oats
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Add hot water to oats and let stand while mixing other ingredients.
Cream together the margarine, brown sugar and white sugar.
Add eggs.
Combine flour, soda and cinnamon and add to sugar mixture; add oatmeal mixture and blend.
Pour batter into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes. Add topping. Serves 12 to 15.
