Grandma Peggy'S Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted cake flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. egg whites (10 to 12 eggs)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sift flour and 3/4 cup sugar together three times. Beat egg whites with salt and cream of tartar in large bowl at highest speed until light and fluffy. Sprinkle remaining sugar over egg whites, two tablespoons at a time, beating after each addition. Continue beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in extracts.
