Rakott Prumple (Layer Potatoes) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 medium potatoes
    4 hard-cooked eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/2 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in boiling water; pare and slice.
    Arrange 1/3 of slices in greased baking dish.
    Over this, slice 3 eggs and sprinkle with salt.
    Cover with half of sour cream.
    Make another layer and a final layer of potatoes.
    Top with the crumbs, mixed with melted butter and a bit of paprika.
    Add the heavy cream. Bake in a hot oven (400\u00b0 to 450\u00b0) for 30 minutes or until crumbs brown.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
