Quick Easy Fruit Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can cherry or apple pie filling or 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 pkg. white cake mix
    1 stick butter or margarine, melted
    walnuts or pecans, chop enough to cover lightly
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Spread pie filling in bottom of an 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
    Sprinkle with cake mix and drizzle with melted butter.
    Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
    Bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
    Makes 12 servings.
