Banana-Chocolate Chip Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour
    2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1 Tbsp. wheat germ
    1/3 c. shortening (butter or margarine)
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. lemon or orange juice
    1 to 2 eggs
    2 or 3 ripe bananas, cut in pieces
    1/2 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Measure dry ingredients and chips.
    Mix together in a large bowl and set aside.
    Use food processor or blender to mix shortening, sugar, juice, eggs and bananas and process until smooth.
    Pour banana mixture into bowl with dry ingredients and stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour batter into greased 8 x 4-inch loaf pan and bake for about 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cool on wire rack before slicing.
    Tastes great plain or with cream cheese.
