Home-Style Oat Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 Tbsp. yeast
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. sage
    1 1/2 c. quick-rolled oats
    1 1/2 c. wheat germ
    2 Tbsp. soy flour
Preparation
    Saute onion in oil.
    Combine all ingredients.
    Drop by tablespoons onto a nonstick cookie sheet lightly coated with vegetable shortening.
    Brown in a 350\u00b0 oven until cooked through, 15 minutes.
