Anna'S Crab Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. crab meat*
    2 slices bread, crust removed
    milk (enough to cover bread)
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    dry mustard to taste
Preparation
    Pick over crab meat but leave as large as possible.
    Meanwhile have bread soaking in milk.
    Squeeze milk from bread, breaking in pieces.
    Add to crab meat with eggs, salt, pepper and dry mustard. Mix lightly.
    Press into cakes.
    Place on lightly floured paper or plate.
    Sprinkle with enough flour, for easy handling.
    Fry in fat (butter) until deep brown on both sides.
