Our Favorite Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
3 c. sugar
6 eggs, separated
1 c. commercial sour cream
3 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add sour cream, flour and soda. Fold in beaten egg whites (stiff, but not dry), lemon extract and vanilla.
Bake in greased, lightly floured tube pan in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours or until well done.
