Cola-Basted Southern Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 ham (about 10 lb.)
    1 (26 oz.) can cola drink
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 tsp. ground pepper
    1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
    2 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Place ham, fat side down, in roasting pan.
    Add cola to half cover ham.
    Bake at 350\u00b0, allowing 15 minutes per pound.
    Baste ham frequently with cola.
    Remove ham from pan.
    Skin it and rub well with brown sugar, pepper, bread crumbs and dry mustard. Press coating into ham.
    Place ham on rack; return to oven and bake 35 to 40 minutes longer, occasionally basting with cola.
