Ingredients

2 c. sifted plain flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. milk
2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into bowl.
Beat eggs slightly in small bowl.
Stir in milk and butter.
Pour mixture over dry ingredients and stir until just blended.
(Batter will be lumpy.
Overbeating will make a tough cake.)
Bake in lightly greased frying pan or griddle and serve at once.
