Caramel Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box light brown sugar, sifted
    3 c. plain flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. pecans, finely chopped
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    5 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream
    butter,
    sugar
    and
    Crisco.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Beat
    well.
    Sift
    flour
    in bowl and add baking powder and salt. Add to butter mixture and alternate with milk.
    Add vanilla.
    Coat nuts with a little of flour mixture and stir in last.
    Put
    in well-greased
    funnel
    pan.
    Put cake in a cold oven.
    Cook
    at 300\u00b0
    for
    1 hour and 40 minutes.
    Check with toothpick.
    Wait 10 minutes and turn out.
