Cherry Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    2 Tbsp. lemon flavor
    3 c. flour (use 1 c. to mix with fruit)
    1 lb. candied cherries (add a little juice from maraschino cherries)
    1 qt. pecans
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar; add lemon flavor, beaten egg yolks, flour, fruit and pecans.
    Last, fold in egg whites.
    Cook 2 hours at 225\u00b0 in tube or loaf pans.
