Special White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 c. milk
    4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cream together the shortening and sugar.
    Add extract to flour mixture along with milk and blend well.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Pour into three greased 9-inch pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
