Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash of salt
    1 c. boiling water
    3 Tbsp. strawberry gelatin
    1 qt. fresh strawberries, sliced
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except strawberries.
    Cook until mixture is thick.
    Set aside for at least 2 1/2 hours to cool at room temperature.
    Place berries in pie shell and pour glaze over them.
    Top with whipped cream.
