French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    5 large onions, sliced
    2 Tbsp. plain flour
    8 c. chicken broth
    1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    12 (1/2-inch) slices Italian bread
    12 slices Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Melt butter; add onions and cook 30 minutes or until golden on medium.
    Stir in flour.
    Gradually stir in chicken broth.
    Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Preheat broiler. Pour soup in 6 ovenproof bowls.
    Place on baking sheet.
    Add 2 tablespoons shredded cheese, 2 slices bread and 2 slices cheese to each bowl.
    Place under broiler for 3 minutes or until cheese is golden and bubbly.
