Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. pretzels, crushed
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    20 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained (reserve juice)
    1/2 c. sugar
    8 oz. cream cheese
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    1st Layer:
    Melt in saucepan 1 stick of margarine.
    Add 1 cup of crushed pretzels and 1/2 cup sugar.
    Press in a 9 x 13 pan.
