Buster Bar Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. powdered sugar
1 lb. Oreo cookies
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. almonds, peanuts or cashews
Cool Whip
1 c. chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
1 c. butter, separated
Preparation

Crush Oreos and 1/2 cup melted butter.
Spread into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Refrigerate until firm.
Spread soft ice cream over crust; sprinkle with nuts.
Freeze.
Mix powdered sugar, milk, chips and 1/2 cup butter.
Boil for 5 to 8 minutes, stirring constantly.
Cool.
Pour over ice cream and freeze.
Frost with Cool Whip.
