Jesus Birthday Cake(Aka John'S Nut Bread) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. pecans, chopped
    4 oz. dates, cut up
    1 (8 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, cut up
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put all chopped ingredients in a bowl.
    Add dry ingredients and coat with flour.
    Beat eggs until foamy.
    Add vanilla to eggs. Fold into dry ingredients until well mixed.
    Place in a meat loaf pan sprayed with Pam.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Yields 1 (3 pound) cake.
