Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 oz. can crushed pineapple
    2 c. mini marshmallows
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/2 Tbsp. white vinegar
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    2 to 3 apples, diced (unpeeled)
    1/2 c. Spanish peanuts
Preparation
    Drain juice from pineapple and save.
    Mix pineapple with marshmallows in a small bowl.
    In a large bowl, mix pineapple juice, flour, sugar, egg and vinegar.
    Place this mixture in a saucepan, heating it until thick.
    Place in refrigerator to cool. When cool, mix with Cool Whip.
    Fold Cool Whip mixture into marshmallow and pineapple mixture.
    Add apples and peanuts.
