German Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 303) can chopped kraut
    1 1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 1/2 c. chopped carrots
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. Pimento (optional)
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. sugar (or less)
Preparation
    Drain and rinse kraut.
    Mix all ingredients.
    Add sugar to vinegar.
    Mix until sugar is dissolved.
    Pour over other ingredients.
    Toss lightly.
    Chill for several hours.
    Serves 6 to 8.
