Home Canned Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 qt. pan tomatoes
    5 onions
    1 bunch celery
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 c. salt
    1 c. margarine or butter
    1 c. flour
Preparation
    Cook celery and onions in small amount of water.
    Add tomatoes.
    Cook until soft.
    Put through food mill.
    Add sugar and salt.
    In a separate bowl, combine flour and butter.
    Cook together a while.
    Stir into tomato mixture and heat to boiling. Fill pint jars.
    Process 5 minutes at 10 pounds pressure.
    Yield: 11 pints.
