Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. yellow corn meal
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. bacon drippings
1 can cream-style corn
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion
1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
3 jalapeno peppers
Preparation

Combine first 7 ingredients and set aside.
Saute ground beef and drain on paper towel.
Grease large skillet.
Heat grease. Pour half of batter into skillet.
Sprinkle cheese and meat.
Add onion and peppers and pour rest of batter on top.
Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Serve with pinto beans.
