Beet Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. chopped beets
2 qt. chopped cabbage
2 c. sugar
1 c. grated horseradish
1 tsp. salt
vinegar to cover
Preparation

This will make 1 gallon jar full and will keep all winter. Does not have to be canned.
Stir occasionally when taking some out for a meal.
