Fudge Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine butter and chocolate in a medium saucepan over low heat.
    Cook until chocolate and butter melt.
    Combine sugar and eggs in a mixing bowl; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until well blended.
    Add chocolate mixture; beat well.
    Stir in flour and salt just until blended.
    Stir in pecans and vanilla. Pour into a greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until done.
    Let cool slightly.
    Spread with Chocolate Frosting while slightly warm.
    Cool.
    Cut.
    Yield:
    4 1/2 dozen.
