Banana-Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed ripe banana
1/2 c. broken walnuts
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat well.
Mix dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with banana, beating well after each addition.
Stir in walnuts.
Pour into well-greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
Bake about 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
