Purple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 jar dark sweet Bing cherries, halved
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 large Cool Whip (16 oz.)
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Beat cream cheese and sugar.
    Stir in the Cool Whip and most of the cherry juice.
    Add cherries, pineapple and nuts.
