Dixie Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Fleischmann's yeast
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 c. potato water, cool
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. melted shortening
    1/2 c. mashed potatoes
    flour
Preparation
    Mix yeast in the cold water, add the cup of potato water, then add egg, sugar, salt, shortening and mashed potatoes.
    Mix well. Then add flour to make a stiff dough, by stirring with spoon.
    Set overnight in refrigerator.
    Make out in rolls, let rise, cook in 425\u00b0 oven until brown (about 15 minutes).
