Strawberry And Cream Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 tsp. strawberry extract
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. strawberry jam
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. lemon juice
    3 c. flour
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar.
    Add vanilla and strawberry extract.
    Add lemon juice, then eggs, one at a time, beating after each one.
    Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with preserves or jam and sour cream.
    Fold in nuts.
    Bake in 2 greased loaf pans at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
