Sausage Strata(Can Be Prepared Ahead - Good For Christmas Morning) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1/4 c. finely chopped sweet red and green pepper (optional)
    2 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/8 tsp. salt
    12 slices white bread, crust removed
    1 lb. Swiss cheese, shredded
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    6 large eggs
    4 c. milk
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. pepper

    Day
    before
    serving
    strata, grease 12 x 9-inch baking pan. In large skillet, saute sausage and pepper until sausage is
    well browned.
    Drain
    off fat.
    Stir in mustard.
    Arrange bread in bottom of pan.
    Top with sausage and cheese.
