Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. molasses
2 beaten eggs
2 1/4 c. milk
2 1/4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. seedless raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream shortening.
Add eggs and molasses.
Sift flour with baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon.
Add alternately with milk to first mixture.
Stir in raisins and nuts.
