Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco oil
4 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. walnuts, chopped
1 c. coconut
2 Tbsp. black walnut flavor
Preparation

I use English walnuts instead of black walnuts.
Mix sugar, oil and eggs; beat well.
Combine dry ingredients and buttermilk.
Stir in nuts, coconut and flavor.
Cook in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 5 minutes.
