Hattie'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 sticks butter
    3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 c. milk
    4 eggs
    1 Tbsp. flavoring (real vanilla, real lemon or real almond)
Preparation
    Cream together sugar and butter until light.
    Add flour and milk alternately to sugar mixture, beating after each addition. Beat in eggs.
    Stir in flavoring.
    Place in greased and floured Bundt pan or 2 large loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Test center with toothpick.
