Diet Vanilla Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. skim milk
    1 envelope plain gelatin
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 c. skim evaporated milk
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat milk just to scalding.
    Do not boil.
    Stir in gelatin and sugar.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Pour into blender; whirl 3 to 5 minutes.
    Add evaporated milk; whirl 2 minutes.
    Chill.
    Pour into freezer and freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
    May add 4 ripe pureed peaches or 2 cups fresh strawberries, pureed.
