1 pt. sweet milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 yeast cake
4 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Scald milk with sugar and Crisco.
Cool and put yeast cake in it.
Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
Stir into milk and set to rise.
After it rises, use flour enough to make a soft dough.
Place in icebox until ready to roll out and cook.
Roll out and let rise.
Grease a pan and put them in the pan.
Cover dough when putting in icebox.
