Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 (1 lb. 1 oz.) can fruit cocktail, undrained
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. walnuts, chopped
Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients; then set aside.
Beat eggs until light and add sugar gradually.
Beat until light and fluffy. Add dry ingredients alternately with fruit cocktail.
Mix until smooth after each addition.
Spoon into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Combine brown sugar and walnuts.
Mix well and sprinkle over cake.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
While still warm, spread with Walnut Topping.
