Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts or 1 c. coconut or 1/2 c. each
Preparation

In a saucepan, mix sugar, margarine and milk; bring to boil and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add cocoa, oatmeal, vanilla, peanut butter and nuts (or coconut or coconut and nuts).
Beat together quickly while hot and drop by teaspoonful onto waxed paper.
Cool at least 10 minutes before serving.
