Squirrel And Dumplins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 3 nice squirrels, cleaned and quartered
1 qt. chicken broth
2 c. instant biscuit mix (mixed for biscuits)
1/2 stick butter or margarine
1/4 c. milk
bacon grease
salt and pepper
Preparation

Quick fry squirrels in bacon grease.
If you prefer, you can just boil the squirrels in chicken broth and leave out step 1. Roll biscuit out very thin and cut into strips.
Cut strips into short segments about 1 x 2-inch.
Drop over into boiling meat broth.
Broth must be boiling to cook dumplings.
After dropping all dumplings, add butter, salt, pepper and milk.
Simmer until thick and creamy.
