Vodka Aloha - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pineapple, cut into 8 pieces
    1 bottle your favorite vodka
    8 stalks lemon grass, split into 16 pieces (available at many green markets)
    4 oz. simple syrup
Preparation
    Put the pineapple pieces into a large glass container.
    Insert the lemon grass stalks into the pineapple.
    Pour the vodka and the simple syrup over the pineapple and close the container with a tightly fitted lid.
    Let rest for 6 days.
    Serve chilled or over ice.
