Jello Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. butter
    16 or 20 graham crackers
    2 boxes strawberry Jell-O
    Cool Whip
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cook eggs, sugar and butter in a double boiler for about 2 minutes.
    When mixture is cooked, add pineapple and chopped nuts. In a 9 x 13-inch pan, place graham crackers.
    Then, layer the graham crackers and mixture, graham crackers and mixture.
    Prepare strawberry Jell-O.
    When Jell-O is slightly thickened, pour it over the layers and chill.
    After it has set up, top with Cool Whip.
