Glazed Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 qt. large pecan halves
Preparation
    Cook sugar and sour cream in a heavy pan over medium heat to a soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat, add vanilla.
    Pour over pecan goodies, stirring gently until all are coated.
    Use a very large bowl for mixing.
    Pour goodies out on a buttered surface
    until dry.
    Store on shelf in covered container.
