Bubble Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 loaf French or Italian bread, sliced in half lengthwise
butte ro margarine
salt and pepper
grated cheese (your choice)
Preparation

Place bread on cookie sheet or jelly roll pan.
Cut sides up. Spread butter or margarine on each half.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Sprinkle both halves with cheese.
Place under broiler until cheese bubbles.
Cut into slices while hot and serve immediately.
Try different cheese combinations; our family likes Bleu cheese and Cheddar or Monterey Jack and American.
