Turkey Burgers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. fresh ground white meat turkey (without skin)
2 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, chopped finely and drained
1 envelope dried onion soup mix
1/4 to 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
8 slices Kraft fat-free cheese
8 Wonder low-fat buns
Preparation

Combine the first 3 ingredients together in a bowl.
Form meat into patties.
Place patties in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before cooking.
Grill outside on outdoor grill or on an inside grill.
Baste patties with barbecue sauce while cooking. Cook about 5 to 7 minutes on each side.
Place a slice of fat-free cheese on each patty for the last minute of cooking time.
Serve on low-fat buns with lettuce, tomato and any other garnish you desire. If using mayonnaise, be sure to use the Kraft fat-free variety. Makes 8 burgers.
