Queen Of Puddings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. soft butter
4 c. milk
2 c. bread crumbs
strawberries
4 egg whites
1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat the yolks of eggs light and add sugar and the soft butter.
Mix well.
Add milk, then add bread crumbs.
Stir.
Pour into buttered baking dish.
Bake like a custard by putting the dish in a pan of water.
Place in oven. When baked, spread over with strawberries, cover with egg whites beaten stiff with 1/2 cup sugar.
Brown in oven.
Sift sugar over meringue.
Eat with sugar and cream when hot or cold.
