Seafood Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. peeled shrimp
1 lb. crabmeat
1 pt. oysters
1/3 c. flour
1/3 c. oil
3 onions, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
3 garlic cloves, chopped
3 qt. water
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
-
First make a roux with flour and oil.
Add vegetables and simmer, stirring constantly.
Add warm water slowly with remainder of seasonings.
Cook on low heat for 1/2 hour.
Add shrimp. Fifteen minutes later, add oysters and crabmeat and cook for another 15 minutes.
