Banana Tea Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. mashed bananas (2 large)
    1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla or 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    1/2 c. thick sour cream or 1/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Set oven to 350\u00b0 to preheat.
    Grease 3 empty No. 2 or 303 size cans or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Chop nuts.
    Mash bananas.
    Sift together flour, soda and salt.
    Combine butter, sugar, egg and flavoring in mixing bowl.
    Cream on Beat-Whip speed for 1 1/2 minutes.
    Stop; scrape bowl and add bananas, cream, nuts and flour mixture.
    Beat on Stir-Mix speed about 1/2 minute or until well blended.
    Fill cans about 2/3 full.
    Bake 1 hour or until done. Loosen and remove from cans.
    Cool thoroughly before serving. Makes about 30 (1/8-inch) slices per can.
