Scrunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cornflakes
    1/2 c. semi-sweet or butterscotch morsels
    3/4 c. light or dark corn syrup
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. crisp rice cereal
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix together the cereals, morsels and nuts. Set aside. Stirring constantly in a saucepan, combine syrup, sugar and butter. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Cool 10 minutes over cereal mixture all at once. Toss to coat evenly. Cool 15 minutes, then shape as desired.
