Flat Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. lard
1 1/2 tsp. soda, in 1 c. buttermilk
1 c. fine oatmeal
4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
3 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. baking powder
dash of cinnamon (if desired)
Preparation

Cream the lard and sugar. Add soda with buttermilk and oatmeal.
Mix in the 3 cups buttermilk alternately with the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Roll with some corn meal and flour as needed.
Bake on a lefse grill at about 425\u00b0 and then dry in a 250\u00b0 to 275\u00b0 oven.
