Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large chicken, cut up
    1 stick butter
    3 small onions
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    3 cans water
    1 small bag rice
Preparation
    Melt butter in Dutch oven.
    Roll chicken in butter.
    Add onions.
    Place in oven to brown top of chicken.
    Remove from oven, turn chicken and return to oven to brown.
    Add mushroom soup and water.
    Return to oven and simmer at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0.
    Prepare rice according to package directions; pour gravy from chicken over rice.
