Sweet Potato Cheesecake Bars - cooking recipe

1 (16 oz.) pkg. pound cake
3 eggs
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
8 large sweet potatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In large bowl on low speed, combine cake mix, 1 egg, butter and 2 teaspoons pie spice.
Mix until crumbly. Press in 15 x 10-inch pan.
In a large mixer bowl, beat cheese until fluffy.
Gradually beat in milk, then eggs and mashed cooked sweet potatoes.
Add remaining ingredients.
Mix well, pour over crust and sprinkle with nuts.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool, chill and cut in bars.
