Baptist Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 stick margarine
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Mix well.
    Add sifted flour and baking powder, alternating with milk to first mixture.
    Then add vanilla.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
    Place in cold oven.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
